Cassandra (“Cassie”) joined Carriage Trails in 2013 as a Paralegal and Executive Assistant, bringing over 30 years of diverse experience in the legal field. She plays a crucial role in the company’s operations, overseeing all monthly lot closings within the Carriage Trails development, maintaining and updating sales reports, and collaborating with the owners’ association to manage delinquencies and architectural changes within the community.
Working closely with the CEO/President, Vice President, Controller, and staff, Cassie supports the company’s daily operations and facilitates new development projects across the state, with a primary focus on the Dayton region. She maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including homeowners’ associations, builders, county and city officials, attorneys, financial institutions, and title officers, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
Cassie’s expertise extends to preparing and reviewing lot purchase agreements, development applications, and financial documentation for community initiatives. She also oversees the administration of annual scholarships for local high school students and manages the distribution of quarterly newsletters to homeowners’ associations, strengthening community engagement.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Cassie furthered her legal education by earning a Legal Assistant in General Practice certification from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. She is an active member of Central College Church, where she serves as an elder and plays in the handbell choir.
Cassie resides in Westerville, Ohio, with her husband and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She has a passion for animal welfare and dedicates her free time to fostering newborn kittens for local animal shelters.
